Peter Lagreca was amazed by the ruins and historical sites of the ancient city of Pompeii. The city was destroyed many years ago in AD 79 after a devastating volcanic eruption on Mount Vesuvius. Many objects and artifacts from the city remain preserved and intact today and offer a great insight into the lives of the people that lived here so long ago.
Machu Picchu – Peru
