Andrew Haag is the founder and creative force behind Andrew Haag Photography & Design.
Andrew Haag is a photographer and mixed media artist based in California. Inspired by his surroundings, Haag’s work often features natural settings superimposed on antique picture frames, architectural awnings and retro television sets. Although he largely views photography and mixed media art as forms of expression, Haag is also open to taking on more conventional projects for clients in need of visual artwork. In the future, the photographer and visual designer hopes to host his own art gallery in the California area. His mixed media art and photography series, “Old + New,” is currently in the works with a release date to be determined.
Photography
Empowered by creativity and the arts, Andrew Haag is a mixed media visual artist based in California. Aiming to capture the beauty of life and nature through his own lens, Haag’s work ties together themes of humanity and hyperrealism. The portfolio of Andrew Haag Photography & Design boasts an array of styles and approaches — both conventional and creative. Haag is privy to photographing all subjects from human and animals to natural scenery. On a freelance basis, the Andrew Haag Photography & Design team takes on the creative demands of clients in a variety of industries. However, as an artist, Haag often prefers to tackle his own challenges by crafting projects out of expression, rather than profession.
Mixed Media Art
A true contemporary artist and photographer, Andrew Haag enjoys blending physical and digital elements into his work. Haag’s mixed media art often combines photos with digitally-rendered sketches and relics he has discovered while out and about. His upcoming mixed media art series, “Old + New,” will combine artistic representations of nature with photos of antiques Haag has collected over the years. An example of this includes the project piece titled “Washing Away,” which depicts a photo of California waves in the center of an antique, weathered picture frame.
