His passport is marked by stops in Australia, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Vietnam, Puerto Rico, England, Singapore and Japan. Visits to Sicily, Paris and Hong Kong hold special memories for Schiliro; memories of adventures that he has captured in his travel photography.

An avid reader and armchair philosopher, Schiliro enjoys discovering works authored by foreign writers on philosophy, science fiction (Sci Fi) and even horror. His personal library is full of great works of Philosophy, Fiction, Horror, Poetry and Science Fiction. He is particularly inspired by the philosophies presented by great thinkers like Albert Camus, Soren Kierkegaard, Boethius and Marcus Aurelius. Schiliro’s more literary interests favor the words of Kurt Vonnegut, Brett Easton Ellis, Edgar Allen Poe and EE Cummings — just to name a few!
