More than just a sport, Badger considers his commitment and dedication to being a fisherman as more of a lifestyle than just a hobby. His fondest and earliest memories from childhood take him back to days spent out on the lake, casting his fishing lures and reeling in a satisfying catch. Now, he not only continues to embrace the passion, but enjoys passing the love of fishing down to the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts. As much as he enjoys the thrill of casting a lure and reeling in a sizable catch for the glory of it all, Badger is extremely mindful of the value of seafood. When possible, he always saves his catches to later prepare and eat. His favorite method of cooking seafood is grilling over an open fire; this approach may be rustic and bare bones in nature, but it is the connection to the great outdoors that Badger seeks when cooking on his own handmade grill setup.

Over the years, Berkley Badger has participated in a lot of different fishing tournaments. He primarily competes in tournaments around the Bonita Springs area. Badger is a massive fan of Bassmaster, a series of tournaments hosted around the country by Bass Anglers Sportsman Society each and every year since 1967. The outdoorsman dreams of one day participating himself and reeling in a prize worthy catch!

A collector by nature, fishing is the perfect hobby for Berkley Badger because it has inspired the spawn of so many unique collections. He has come to enjoy collecting unique lures, tackles and other fishing gear along the way. But by far his biggest collection of fishing gear is his assortment of sunglasses. It seems like every trip or tournament that comes around, Badger finds himself needing to pick up a new pair!
