Career in Hospitality
In 2002, Charlotte Curran graduated with High Honors from European Center of International Hospitality Management in Paris, France. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management, Curran pursued her career in the United States. Her first role was that of a Front Desk Clerk at Hillsboro Club, a private residence club located in the south east. Curran’s responsibilities as Front Desk Clerk included handling all reception and concierge services at the Club. Eventually, she was promoted to Resident Manager Assistant, which increased her responsibilities and workload significantly. As Resident Manager Assistant, Curran was responsible for managing the reservation office and providing guest services.
Charlotte Curran’s experience at Hillsboro Club solidified her passion for the Hospitality industry. She then went on to hold various other roles in the industry, including:
- Evening Manager & Front Office Supervisor at Hilton Garden Inn (2003 – 2004)
- Sales Manager at LXR — Luxury Resorts (2004 – 2007)
- National Sales Manager at PGA National Resort & Spa (2007)
Supporter of Education Initiatives
Currently, Charlotte Curran is a Gala Committee Member of Opportunity Early Childhood Education Center. She is particularly proud of Opportunity’s message, which focuses on a child’s education not only in terms of academics, but also social, emotional and physical well-being. Opportunity Early Childhood Education Center is accredited by The National Accreditation Commission (NAC) and is recognized locally as a Gold Seal School of Excellence.
Tennis Player & Enthusiast
Outside of her professional endeavors, Charlotte Curran enjoys challenging herself with the sport of tennis. Tennis is a great sport that connects the body and the mind. Charlotte enjoys staying active and getting outdoors while playing the sport she loves.
