Ed Faehr lives in Morning View, Kentucky where he is pursuing careers in two industries he is very passionate about: golf and horse racing.
Being a native of Kentucky, horse racing has become a huge part of Ed’s life. Ed Faehr currently stands as a Group Purchasing Manager at Magdalena Racing Partnerships. Magdalena Racing offers partnerships for some of the greatest bloodstock and Thoroughbred pedigrees in the world. When purchasing a Thoroughbred, race horse owners are looking for horses that can race among the fastest horses across the globe. With the right partnership and training, race horse owners are confident they will make it to the winner’s circle at the highest levels of the sport. Ed Faehr and the team at Magdalena Racing Partnerships work hard to help these horse owners make their dreams a reality.
Aside from the horse racing industry, Ed Faehr is also passionate about golf. Ed currently works as a PGA Certified Golf Instructor for both adults and children. After playing golf his whole life, Ed Faehr decided to become a golf instructor to help improve the skills and knowledge of others and to share his great love of the game.
From 1983 to 1987, Ed Faehr attended Simon Kenton High School where he played for the school’s golf team. He then went on to attend Eastern Kentucky University to study Business Administration and Management as well as Journalism. In 1989, Ed was a member of the EKU golf team. In 1990, Ed Faehr completed his Bachelor’s Degree at Strayer University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Outside of his professional career, Ed Faehr spends his time volunteering and giving back to his local community. Over the years he has supported many wonderful organizations, particularly organizations that help improve the lives of children.
