Olympics fan Geannette Wittendorf empowers others through sports charities. A humanitarian at heart, she is passionate about philanthropy and helping others achieve their goals.
Since childhood, Geannette Wittendorf has admired the incredible efforts of Olympians. The athletes and their tireless level of dedication has always amazed her. For a number of years, Geannette Wittendorf has supported her local Special Olympics chapter. The organization inspires her, all the way to its core. Like the nonprofit, which operates globally, Wittendorf believes that sports are for all people. And the powerful sense of motivation and inspiration found in sports is truly amazing to her. She finds volunteering at Special Olympics events to be incredibly fulfilling. The athletes who compete at the games are some of the most hardworking and dedicated people she has ever met.
The Boston Bruins Foundation
A hockey aficionado and huge Boston Bruins fan, Geannette Wittendorf’s own beliefs parallel with the team’s Boston Bruins Foundation. The Foundation is a collaborative nonprofit with a goal of advocating for athletes of all ability levels. Hand-in-hand with Special Olympics, the group hosts various events which support their local Massachusetts chapter. Wittendorf is a proud supporter of “B Inclusive,” an effort that supports Special Olympians in hockey and other sports.
SCORE Boston Hockey
Community and sportsmanship are two concepts near and dear to Wittendorf’s heart. That’s why she adamantly supports SCORE Boston Hockey. This organization empowers youngsters through hockey and programs that fuel their leadership skills. SCORE provides disadvantaged youth with equipment, training and lessons that will last a lifetime.
