James Plaster is a self-taught home improvement contractor and home remodeling expert. But that’s not where Plaster’s career actually began. Before dabbing in the home improvement side of real estate, Plaster set his focus in the areas of art & design. A professionally trained sculpture and painter, he found his start creating unique plaster art pieces for new homes. While working on a painting project for a client, Plaster was asked to assist in some simple carpentry work. In no time at all, he realized that he has quite the hand for crafting wood into functional pieces and home fixtures. It was then that Plaster decided to venture off from art & design into a similar yet very different field: Home Design and Home Improvement.

The Home Improvement Contractor initially got his start in home design by taking an artistic approach towards plaster art and landscaping. After the installation of his 100th plaster art piece, James decided to try out Home Improvement and Remodeling on an official level. He had previously crafted projects for clients requiring simple carpentry work. Now, Plaster performs all levels of home improvement and home remodeling. From installation of siding, roofing, windows and flooring to full-on remodeling and renovations of kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and basement areas: this contractor can do it all!
