Education & Academic Qualifications
Jason Peterson received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Bellevue University in 2009. This pursuit would set the groundwork for his academic career at Doane College, which earned him a Master’s in Management in 2012. Peterson pursued both degrees after already solidifying his career in manufacturing with his many roles at Overhead Door Corporation. Aiming to keep pace with the evolving business mechanics of his industry, he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees to strengthen his command in the field.

For nearly twenty years, Jason Peterson held numerous positions at Overhead Door Corporation. ODC is a leader in the manufacturing of doors used in commercial, residential and industrial spaces. Peterson initially joined the team in 2001 as an Engineering Review Technician. This experience also involved taking on the responsibilities of miscellaneous roles within the company. Peterson’s six years as an Engineering Review Technician earned him solid expertise, serving as the groundwork for his budding career in manufacturing.

Although the bulk of Peterson’s career has included roles at ODC, his experiences within the company were diverse. While working at ODC, this professional gained valuable hands on experience on a wide range of processes in the manufacturing industry. Always interested in a learning experience, Peterson is now looking forward to expanding his experience base. From working in so many corners of the manufacturing business, he is now interested in potentially pursuing a career in business development.
