Robert Lindeman lives in New England where he is a professional sleep consultant, sailing enthusiast, and active member of his community. Lindeman is dedicated to his faith and has worked closely with his synagogue, Congregation Kehillath Israel, for many years.
Congregation Kehillath Israel is located in the heart of Brookline, Massachusetts in the Coolidge Corner neighborhood, a town that serves as the cultural hub for the Jewish community of Great Boston. At the congregation, Robert Lindeman serves as a lay leader. He also volunteers to lead Sabbath services, often requiring him to sing acapella. Lindeman will also serve as “gabbai”, the assistant to the rabbi, from time to time. As gabbai, Robert Lindeman holds various responsibilities including welcoming guests, answering questions, and directing traffic throughout the synagogue.
Established over 100 years ago in 1915, Congregation Kehillath Israel has a long and celebrated history. Starting out with a membership of 36 people, the congregation now serves over 400 families. The synagogue has remained a thriving and valuable part of the Brookline community today.

Outside of helping the community, a second passion for Robert Lindeman is sailing. Lindeman has been an avid sailing enthusiast for many years. He particularly loves sailing off of Nantucket Island. Robert Lindeman considers Nantucket his second home. During his vacations, Lindeman has had the opportunity to sail numerous boats off of Nantucket including the Sunfish, Hobie 16, Mercury, Laser, Marshall Cat, and Rhodes 19. One day he hopes to have a Beetle Cat of his own.
Professionally, Robert Lindeman works as a sleep consultant in the New England area focusing on sleep disorders and promoting healthy sleeping habits. His goal is to further educate the public about the importance of sleep and how poor sleep can lead to both short term and long term health issues. As a sleep consultant, Robert Lindeman is also affiliated with the following sleep organizations including:
