Rose Mary Huber is an education volunteer with America Learns, where she supports adult and youth literacy initiatives on a monthly basis through programs connected with the VC Library Foundation. A retired educator, she finds deep fulfillment in helping learners from diverse backgrounds build confidence, strengthen reading skills and work toward personal goals such as American citizenship.
Environmental Nonprofits
In her retirement from the academic realm, Rose Mary Huber is dedicating much of her free time to community projects and volunteer work. She is a longtime supporter of The National Audubon Society and regularly attends events where she can lend a helping hand. Huber also actively seeks out nature conservation, local birding groups and environmental cleanup initiatives in her area. She is available for volunteer projects in the Oxnard, California community and surrounding neighborhoods.
