Shawn Singh is an athlete who has played nearly every sport. His favorites include cross country, football, soccer, baseball and basketball — but he can’t seem to pick just one! Behal continues to keep active by running and competing in local cross country events and marathons whenever he can. In the future, he hopes to breathe his passion for sports into his professional pursuits in Communications and Media.

Associate’s, Bachelor’s & Master’s Degrees in General Studies and Communications
Shawn Singh Behal is a young professional with a diverse background in Communications, Public Relations and Media. Behal began his academic pursuits by completing an Associate’s degree in General Studies at a local community college in 2017. This pursuit set the tone for Behal’s commitment to equipping himself with a wide range of expertise. He then continued on to complete a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Studies at Towson University in Baltimore, MD. As of 2022, Behal is currently in the process of pursuing a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications. It is his intention that this most recent academic pursuit will solidify his focus in the field of Communications, which he intends to frame his career around.
Professional Career
Although early into his professional career, Shawn Singh Behal has already enjoyed the privilege of diversified experiences. While studying at his local community college in pursuit of an Associate’s degree in General Studies, Behal worked as an Office Assistant within the Religion and Philosophy department of the school. He then moved on to work in retail, climbing the ladder of success from Customer Service Representative to higher level management roles.
Following the completion of his Master’s in Strategic Communications, Shawn Singh Behal intends on setting his sights on a career in Public Relations and Communications. Passionate about sports, technology, self-improvement practices (including yoga, meditation and fitness), Behal dreams of being able to combine all of these interests in a professional setting. The Communications professional looks forward to relaunching his first blogging project, Musings of the Average Media Consumer, a blog that taps into media while offering a unique perspective.
