One of Shea Coakley’s most recently launched startups is 1luvbrands, a nonprofit initiative. It all started with Coakley’s aim to spread the love during the COVID-19 pandemic. During quarantine, he decided to make mala beads for friends and family, as signs of positivity and motivation. Quickly, the idea became a hit! Now, 1luvbrands sells a variety of accessories and apparel, all with the intention of spreading the love. Each month, the initiative’s sales directly support a different charity and/or nonprofit organization. As the project continues, Coakley eagerly looks forward to the positive possibilities to come with 1luvbrands.
