Sudhir Polisetty practices as a General and Surgical Dermatologist at The Dermatology Center in New Albany, Indiana. Throughout his extensive medical training and education, he achieved academic excellence in General Dermatology and Surgical Dermatology. In 2010, Sudhir Polisetty began his medical career enrolling at the Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio.
Sudhir Polisetty graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a minor in Psychology from the Youngstown State University. He achieved the Dean’s List every semester and was a Presidential Scholarship Recipient. In May 2002, he graduated. He then enrolled at Northeast Ohio Medical University to pursue his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). Sudhir Polisetty graduated from Rootstown, Ohio University in May 2007.
Sudhir Polisetty first internship after school was a Preliminary Medicine Internship in 2007 at Summa Health Systems’ Akron City Hospital. Toward the end of his internship, he was awarded “Intern of the Year.” Afterwards, he began a Dermatology Residency with Wright State Dermatology in 2008, and spent four years gaining experience within the General and Surgical Dermatologic field. During this time, Sudhir Polisetty served as Chief Resident for one year and also completed research and poster presentations about numerous topics related to Dermatology. He delivered annual presentations at the Ohio Dermatological Association Annual Conference in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011, and one of his published articles appeared in the October 2006 issue of Dermatologic Surgery.
Sudhir Polisetty’s interests include church, family, competitive weight lifting, sports, writing, and traveling all over the world. He also enjoys playing musical instruments, especially the trumpet and piano.
