Tina Soin began her education at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. She double majored inCommerce and Finance and Economics. She received both Bachelor degrees in 1993. In 1997, she enrolled at The University of Tulsa College of Law in Tulsa, OklahomA. She completed her Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She was a recipient of numerous academic awards including The CALI Excellence for the Future Award: Advanced Torts, Sports Law, and Family Law Activities: Energy Law Journal, where she was also a staff member. She was an active member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. She also had the thrilling experience and opportunity of briefly traveling to Geneva, Switzerland in 2009 for a study abroad program. She was also a Chartered Financial Analyst for CFA Institute at the University of Toronto in 2009.
Tina Soin’s experience is rich with on the field training and management. Her current position is at GableGotwals, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has been there as an attorney since September 2011. Before working as an attorney at GableGotwals, Tina Soin worked as a law clerk at the firm, conducting legal research and drafting numerous contracts and internal firm policies. She spent many years supervising several aspects of Investor Relations and corporate communications activities at Vanguard Car Rental USA Inc and Global Power Equipment Group Inc. as Director of Investment Relations. Tina also has many years of mid-level management experience. She spent two years as the Manager of Planning and Development at PennWell Corporation. She was in charge of negotiating and drafting contracts including agreements related to international business, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and ongoing operations, and identifying new strategic business opportunities. Before her experience in management, Tina spent five years in different data analysis positions.
Tina Soin spends her free time volunteering with the Tulsa Lawyer for Children organization; the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Society of Oklahoma, where she served as a board member, president, vice president, secretary and treasurer; and a member of the Junior League of Tulsa, from 2006-2007.
