Academic Advisor
Amy Elliot-Meisel previously worked as an Academic Advisor at Roosevelt University. This role required her to advise hundreds of academics across all undergraduate majors and programs at Roosevelt. Among her other responsibilities, Amy also provided instruction for sections of the FYS 101: First Year Success and TRS 101: Transfer Success courses.
Prior to her work as an Academic Advisor at Roosevelt, Amy Elliot-Meisel worked at Robert Morris University as an Academic Advisor as well. She now works as a member of the Rush University graduate college faculty as an Academic Program Coordinator.

In 2017, Amy Elliot-Meisel earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from Marquette University. During her enrollment at Marquette University, Amy was actively involved in various organizations and on-campus programs. While studying at Marquette’s College of Arts & Sciences, Amy contributed to the Marquette Wire extensively. Active in radio, television and print media at Marquette, Amy stood as Managing Editor for the Marquette Tribune and produced numerous stories for Marquette University Television (MUTV).

Amy Elliot-Meisel is currently in pursuit of her Masters degree from Loyola University. She anticipates an expected graduation date of May 2023.
Personal Interests
A lifelong animal lover, Amy Elliot-Meisel is passionate about fostering shelter animals. At present, Amy is caring for 10 foster animals: 9 dogs and 1 cat. The experience has been both rewarding and enriching for Amy, who is also an expert in dog training. In the future, she hopes to work closely with organizations that promote animal welfare and the ‘Adopt, Don’t Shop’ message of pet ownership. A creative at heart, Amy funnels her imaginative energy into visual art projects as a photographer and graphic designer.
