Dr. Craig H. Rabb is the Head Director of the Neurotrauma Program at the University of Utah. He has been board certified as a neurosurgeon since 1998.
Education & Training
In 1983, Dr. Craig H. Rabb earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma. His undergraduate studies helped him to set the foundation for his future medical pursuits. Five years later, in 1988, he completed his Doctor of Medicine at the same academic institution. He greeted commencement with stellar marks, earning himself outstanding distinction and graduating at the top of his class. In 1995, Craig H. Rabb MD completed a residency at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. During the course of his residency, he studied in the Department of Neurological Surgery, further fine-tuning his specialty in neurosurgery.

Nationally recognized and widely acclaimed in the surgical community, Rabb MD is licensed to practice in eight states across the US. He currently holds surgical licenses in California, Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oregon, Oklahoma, Wyoming and Washington.
Throughout his career as a neurosurgeon, Dr. Craig H. Rabb has cultivated a mastery of Deep Brain Stimulation. He is regarded as an expert in DBS practices and is also credited with establishing the largest DBS surgical practice in the state of Oklahoma. Other specialties of his include Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Neurotrauma and Spinal Trauma procedures.
Career as an Educator
Currently, Dr. Rabb is the Head Director of the Neurotrauma Program at the University of Utah. This experience is not the first of its kind for Rabb MD, who has melded his work as a surgeon with his passion for educating the next wave of neurosurgeons. He has held similar positions at the University of Oklahoma, Oregon Health Sciences University and University of Colorado.
