Elizabeth Nimni is an advocate for supporting individuals who are trying to turn their lives around for the better. Nimni is a proud volunteer of organizations that echo that message, such as Homeboy Industries. She also enjoys dabbling in Interior Design.
Volunteerism
Elizabeth Nimni is a proud contributor to and volunteer of Homeboy Industries. Founded on the idea that everyone deserves a second chance, Homeboy is a support network for former gang members. The initiative supports these individuals throughout their rehabilitation. Offering a variety of services that ‘heal,’ Homeboy helps participants mend relationships with family, pursue an education, achieve sobriety and find employment.
Elizabeth Nimni strongly believes in the efforts of Homeboy Industries. She is proud of the organization’s life-changing efforts in her community. In particular, Nimni enjoys the special events that Homeboy Industries hosts for the benefit of the initiative, such as:
- Homeboy 5K Run / Walk
- The Other Art Fair
Lovebugs Rescue is another organization that is near and dear to Elizabeth Nimni’s heart. After adopting her two schnauzer mix puppies from Lovebugs, she decided to donate to the shelter’s incredible cause. Lovebugs Rescue is an initiative that saves animals from being euthanized by rescuing them from ‘kill’ shelters. Foster homes welcome these animals into their homes temporarily while Lovebugs actively works to find each pet a forever home.
Elizabeth Nimni is also involved with Venice Family Clinic Art Walk & Auction. In the near future, Nimni hopes to support the Art Walk by donating her needlepoint and sewing projects for auction.
Nimni Cream
Elizabeth Nimni is the daughter of Marcel Nimni, a world-renowned skincare specialist. Nimni is credited with developing a unique moisturizer called Nimni Cream, which supports collagen production. Elizabeth Nimni is particularly proud of her father’s invention not only because of how effective it is, but because of how it is made. Nimni Cream abides by a production process that is cruelty-free and vegan. As an animal lover, Nimni is proud to be involved with the product because of its dedication to keeping the environment and all living creatures in mind.
Interior Design
Recently, Elizabeth Nimni has honed her eye for detail in the direction of Interior Design. For years, Nimni has been inspired by design projects highlighted in publications such as Home & Garden, Dwell, and The World of Interiors. Now she’s dipping her creative toes into the Interior Design pool for herself! Starting small, Nimni is taking on simple projects in her own home to add a splash of color and personality. She hopes to eventually document the unique journey in the form of an online blog!
Taking notes from pages in her favorite Interior Design magazines, Elizabeth Nimni will work to recreate stunning decor designs. She is particularly fascinated by projects that blend the past with the present. Currently, Nimni is diving into the world of midcentury modern furniture and looks forward to incorporating the style in her own future projects!
