Background & Education
Lucas Jubb spent his early years on the West Coast of the United States and in Havana, Cuba. This multicultural upbringing granted him valuable insight on culture and individuality. He learned early about the differences and similarities of people, based on their cultural background. This intrigued him and would serve as a stepping stone in his budding interest in Psychology. Growing up, he was always up to play a game of baseball with whoever — wherever. Baseball proved to be universal in language in the United States and Cuba.
In 1996, Lucas Jubb pursued his collegiate level of education. Fascinated by the human mind, he majored in Psychology. His multicultural upbringing fueled his interests in travel and language, which he decided to develop on in college. While attending St. Mary’s College, he studied language in addition to Psychology, taking up courses in multiple languages. This experience would lead him to fluency in:
- English
- Spanish
- French
In 2000, Lucas Jubb graduated from St. Mary’s College with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In 2005, he completed his Master’s in Psychology, furthering his expertise on the science of the human mind.
Professional Experience
For two years, Lucas Jubb worked as an Activities Director at Club Med. This was a very fun and fulfilling experience for the baseball fan with a love of travel. He found himself exploring the world under this role, becoming quite familiar with places like:
- Florida
- Colorado
- Dominican Republic
Today, Lucas Jubb works as a Business Management Consultant. Equipped with tri-lingual abilities and a mastery of the study of Psychology, Jubb is able to understand a diverse range of individuals, on multiple levels. This is extremely helpful when acting as a mentor to other professionals. He is better able to understand the “why” behind someone’s thought process. This assists him greatly in pinpointing a plan for helping professionals reach their potential. It also helps him to better evaluate the problems presented to him within a particular company.
Jubb also works as a Project Manager for United Way in Chattanooga, Tennessee. United Way is an organization with a clear focus: helping every individual succeed, regardless of any roadblocks along the way. The organization has become popular, internationally, for such campaigns as Play 60. Play 60 is a program which encourages kids to play outside for 60 minutes a day. This effort is backed by a partnership with the NFL. Lucas Jubb is proud to support this campaign, as he personally believes in the positive influence of sports on a child’s health and development. Working for United Way allows him to impact others in a positive and productive manner, which is something he always strives to do.
