Meaghan Wagar is a mentor, educator and STEM teacher. Wagar is also a published fiction author who has maintained a lifelong love of reading and creative writing.
Meaghan Wagar is an education professional, fiction author and avid cooking/baking enthusiast. She is an author, best known for her debut novel, The Unexpected Gift. Enriched by her education, Wagar maintains five degrees and academic qualifications, including:
- Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Walden University
- Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Brenau University
- Bachelor’s in Education from GSU
- Pharmacy Technician Certification from Emory University (Allied Health)
- Degree from DeKalb College (now named Perimeter College)
When Meaghan Wagar isn’t reading, writing or mentoring and teaching her students in Science and STEM, she’s replicating recipes from her favorite cooking/baking shows. Wagar’s favorites include Nailed It!, Cupcake Wars, Next Great Baker and Beat Bobby Flay. She also enjoys videos on social media that showcase the unique talents of amateur bakers and everyday cooks.

Meaghan Wagar is an experienced education professional. An educator, mentor and teacher, Wagar is passionate about teaching STEM and science classes. Wagar has taught elementary, middle and high school students. Each and every class has been a privilege to teach. Fully immersed in the teacher lifestyle, Wagar is always an active member of her school’s community. Connecting with students, faculty and staff is what makes her career as an education professional so special!

Meaghan Wagar is a proud member of the Discovery High School community, where she is a Physics Teacher. Prior to joining this wonderful high school community, the educator taught 5th Grade and STEM in Grades K-5 at Mulberry Elementary. She has also previously taught the following classes:
