The LK Project
The LK Project is an acoustic-driven quartet known for its heartfelt songwriting, strong vocal harmonies and engaging live performances. Featuring guitarists and vocalists Mike Lickiss and Chris Carter, bassist Ken Cuozzo and percussionist John Bost, the group blends indie sensibilities with an acoustic foundation that highlights both original compositions and reinterpretations of cover tunes spanning five decades.
Before forming The LK Project, Mike Lickiss and Chris Carter worked together on an earlier project: Lindy’s Kitchen. This earlier band was formed at St. Mary’s College nearly 30 years ago. The LK Project evolved into its current form in 2016; developing a mature, acoustic-focused style that continues to captivate audiences. With multiple albums and EPs — including their self-titled debut (2016), Where I Belong (2018) and a trilogy of recent releases [This Home We’ve Built (2022), Away Away Away (2023), Colors Shapes & Forms (2024)] — the band has built a reputation for crafting music that is warm, authentic and timeless, offering listeners both the intimacy of live performance and the polish of modern recording.
