He earned his way on the Dean’s list for the majority of his collegiate career; achieving the honor for 6 out of his 8 semesters of undergraduate studies.

Steeped in local sports culture, 104.5 FM provides live coverage of the area’s teams and athletes — from the high school and college levels all the way up to the big leagues. Offering the community a full scope of coverage, The Team’s hosts discuss everything on air, from live play-by-plays with commentary to athlete interviews.
Randy King is proud to have worked as part of The Team at 104.5. He looks forward to expanding his portfolio as a Radio Producer, providing basketball coverage live and on the court.

A lifelong basketball fan and enthusiast, Randy King religiously keeps up with the NBA. His all-time favorite team is the Los Angeles Lakers. King’s ultimate career goal is to one day work as a radio show host or writer for a major professional basketball outlet.
As of 2021, the lightly seasoned radio producer and writer currently contributes basketball stories to the Basketball Society. He primarily offers up his thoughts on the outlet’s Lakers Lair, a podcast focused on the LA team and the fan culture surrounding it. Additionally, Randy King Northville, NY writer and blogger is currently in the process of launching a basketball centered blog of his own. This project will provide after game coverage, including game highlights and commentary on the politics on and off the NBA court.
