Recently, he has established the foundation for his latest venture: an independent business consulting firm. As Principal with his family’s company, Reliant, McCuskey has become well-versed in all internal and external aspects of operating a business. He brings his diverse range of experiences to the table in the launch of his new start-up.
Education and Expertise
Marshall University
Ryan McCuskey completed his undergraduate studies at Marshall University. Through Marshall’s College of Liberal Arts, he earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science. His commitment to maintaining honors designations both in high school and college enabled him to attend Marshall University on a full scholarship. While working towards his degree in Political Science, McCuskey was also accepted into a prestigious Legislative Fellowship. This experience set the foundation for his leadership skills.
Ohio State University
McCuskey continued his education at Ohio State University, where he earned two postgraduate degrees. He holds an MHA specializing in Services Management and Policy as well as a Juris Doctor (JD), Law. While enrolled at OSU, he completed an Administrative Residency at VHA and a Clerkship at U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He also worked as the Publishing Senior Editor for the University’s I/S: A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society.

Ryan McCuskey is an expert in information technology as it relates to the medical field. He is also well-versed in property management and project management. He currently stands as Principal of Reliant, where he partners with companies from development to implementation of various projects. In 2019, McCuskey will launch his latest start-up: an independent business consulting firm which will be based in North Carolina.
