Leah Honeycutt is a Freelance Photographer and Graphic Designer whose artwork is inspired by a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) approach.
Leah Honeycutt is a creative individual who has always found herself immersed in multiple forms of art at any given time. An artist who would rather dabble in a little bit of everything, Leah enjoys trying out as many different techniques, styles and mediums as possible. Inspired by Do-It-Yourself (DIY) culture, she enjoys piecing her projects together in a hands-on and often mixed media manner. Her favorite mediums for artistic expression are photography, graphic design, sewing and illustration; but those are only just a few of Leah Honeycutt’s favorites!
Freelance Digital Photography
On a freelance basis, Leah Honeycutt is available for photoshoot sessions. Although she primarily specializes in portrait photography, Leah is happy to work with her clients on a variety of unique projects. Capturing visuals with her camera is more than just a form of documentation for this photographer. Like any other art form she embraces, photography is an opportunity to artistically express and convey a certain mood, atmosphere or theme. Perhaps the most common theme portrayed in Leah’s portraits is one of memories. Because after all, when we take portraits (especially with friends, family, pets and loved ones), the memory of the moment is what we truly aim to display. And that’s precisely what this photographer aims to capture with her camera!
Charity Work & Volunteering
When she can, Leah Honeycutt enjoys offering her DIY skills up for the benefit of charity events. An advocate for ending homelessness, she has worked with and supported numerous charities that echo the same cause. Her favorite nonprofit organizations include National Alliance to End Homelessness, Streetwise and Adobe Services. During the winter months, Leah enjoys sewing and crocheting hats and gloves for homeless members of the community. She looks forward to creating a program centered around this DIY charity effort.
